Here is a great write up on timing these motor. I just had my cylinder head off and re-timed it with the motor in the car. It is very possible. 13 Ingot Silver ST, basic mods intake, exhaust, 2.3 stroker and massive turbo :smile: gswede.
I have looked around the pedal mechanism to see if the return springs have broken and they appear ok. I also would have though that if it was a spring then the issue would occur consistently and not intermittently.
