The 5.7L Hemi (code name is Eagle) replaced the 5.9-liter V8 LA/Magnum engine. In the next couple of years, this 345 Hemi engine became available in numerous models produced by Chrysler: Dodge Durango, Chrysler 300C, Dodge Magnum R/T, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Charger, and others.
The 6.4L has TONS of power, it sounds awesome, has awesome low end and pulls like a freight train right up to 6000-6200RPM when it shifts, will run 12's all day long in stock form, and will break into the 11's with some basic mods. It gets noticeably worse gas mileage than the 5.7L.
