Grab them by holding right bumper/R1, then follow the prompt to dominate and gain intel. Totally - it's a quick tutorial and if you miss it its not in the archives of tutorials. You hold RB, not touch but hold it to grab them (on captains they have to be worn down) then press A. It has prompts to either Intel or Kill.
