Macs are not meant for hardcore games like GTAV. If you wanna play on a laptop you need to get one from ASUS or MSI with at least a 970m GPU. But building a desktop PC is much more efficient. GTAV isn't a good game to be played on a 2GB card. Maxing out the game at just 1080p can go beyond 4GB.

159. 258. Apr 22, 2015. #2. I'm running it on my 2012 27" iMac with 680MX. It runs at roughly 40fps at 1440p and all settings at high. Putting settings at ultra makes the fps go down to 20-30. To be able to achieve 60fps I have to have a mixture of medium/high settings. Other than that, it runs really great!
